About the Event

There are increasing amounts of data being generated, collected and stored every day at the individual, organisational or governmental levels. In healthcare, data from IoT, handheld devices, smart homes, genomics and global patient environments, provide many opportunities for innovation, for example biotherapies or personalised treatments based on patient’s genomic information and for career perspectives in data driven healthcare. 

Well, if you are you curious about developing data career in healthcare, please join our fantastic speakers 

  • Dr. Sophie Guo, Senior Patient Safety and Quality Analyst at St John of God Health Care: Sophie  is a medical doctor and a PhD in epidemiology and population health. She has had a very diverse career in health and health data, spanning clinical medicine, academia, research and analytics; while collecting numerous awards and honours. She is currently working to improve patient outcomes at St John of God Health Care as a Senior Patient Safety and Quality Analyst.
  • Dr. Michael Dagley, Management Consultant, IQVIA:  Michael holds a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Melbourne and an MBA, with distinction, from Oxford University. Following a successful career in academia in biochemistry, Michael is contributing to health innovation as a management consultant at IQVIA (formerly IMS Consulting), where he is leading large and complex commercial projects for major pharmaceutical companies.
