Introduction

We’re excited to announce a new initiative by OHT Stockholm today! We’re launching a series of LearnLab sessions to help you skill up in different areas within the health-tech space. 

The first of many sessions will be a 2-hour remote webinar on the basics of Machine Learning (ML). The webinar will be in collaboration with our new sponsor, Google.

Who is it for

This workshop is for everyone that wants to discover the basics of ML and is interested to learn about the possible use cases in the health-tech and healthcare sector. You will walk away with a fundamental understanding of the topic and how it can help you excel in your work.

You do not need any technical or programming skills to participate.

Google has kindly offered to provide attendees with lunch delivered via Uber Eats. We will share the details with those that register a few days before the workshop.

Ice breaker

We want to emulate as much as possible real-world connections in a remote setting: we will go through a fun ice breaker activity together to break down the stranger barrier. We will share the details at the workshop, but hint, it involves spirit animals 🐉.

Webinar format

We start the webinar by introducing what Machine Learning (ML) is, how it works, and what you can do with it. We will then go through some practical use cases and discuss where ML can be useful in the health-tech and healthcare sector. There will also be some fun interactive quiz questions throughout the webinar.

What you need

To ensure we can provide maximum value for you in our workshop, please answer the registration form honestly and provide us with the following:

Also, for the best experience when participating in the quiz, we recommend using a separate smartphone or device, but this is not mandatory!

Anna Fürgut:

Anna is a Data Scientist from Datatonic and has an MSc in Statistics and ML. For her MSc thesis, she worked with patient symptom recognition through online forms.

Henrik Warfvinge:

Henrik is a data analytics & ML advisor from Google
