So what's the craic with this "Digital Academy?"

In a nutshell, the NHS Digital Academy is a virtual organisation set up to develop a new generation of excellent digital leaders who can drive the information and technology transformation of the NHS.

The Academy will provide a year long world class digital health training course to Chief Clinical Information Officers, Chief Information Officers and aspiring digital leaders from clinical, and non clinical, backgrounds.Commissioned by NHS England the Academy is delivered by a partnership of Imperial College London, the University of Edinburgh and Harvard Medical School.

How do I get involved?

The NHS Digital Academy is currently recruiting... woohooo!Anyone who feels they are an existing and/or aspiring digital leader across health and social care including Chief Clinical Information Officers, Chief Information Officers, and senior operational, technical and clinical managers, should ALL be applying... and One HealthTech is on a mission, to help FLOOD the NHS Digital Academy applications with tip top ladies. There we said it.Applicants must:

  1. Have five years informatics or digital experience
  2. Support of their Chief Executive
  3. Be able to attend three residential training sessions.
